For the longest time Android users have been waiting for the ability to customize the share menu. It may seem like a small thing, but when you share a lot from your mobile device, having to constantly scroll through that share menu to find the one app you want to use can be a real time waster. So having the ability to pin your most-used apps to the top would make this a much more efficient experience.
This is something we’ve been asking for for some time. The feature, which was introduced with Nougat, was removed from Android Q beta 3. Pinning apps to the share menu never popped up again.
